COVID-19 Updates
We are still delivering as normal, but in light of the spread of COVID-19 we’re taking all necessary precautions to keep our customers and colleagues safe.
The extra measures in place mean it may take longer than usual to create and deliver your memorial, but we’re doing everything we can to deliver your order as quickly as possible. We really appreciate your patience and understanding.
Memorials
Our memorials are designed to be accessed through the base of the product. If you find it necessary, place the memorial on a cushioned surface ensuring that any protruding features such as ears are well protected.
Wooden items have a base plate that will unscrew, on our other memorials you will need to gently prize the lid open with a flat blade screwdriver. Next, place the cremains within the bag provided and gently insert into the memorial. Finally, secure the ashes inside with the supplied bung ensuring there is a tight seal. The memorial is now ready to be placed.
Occasionally some black residue caused from the production process may leave marks on your hands. This is nothing to worry about and will wash off quickly with soap and water.
Our memorials are made from a variety of materials. The metallic effect on our Dog and Cat caskets/urns are made through a special resign designed to be long lasting and strong enough to withstand the elements in a setting such as the garden.
Wooden memorials – These are designed for indoor use only. Clean gently with a non-abrasive wooden polish. It is advised to test on small area first before applying to the rest of the memorial.
Resin memorials – Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, these products require little maintenance to stand the test of time. Clean occasionally with a small sponge.

Whilst there are a number of restrictions within the UK regarding pet burial, you are allowed to bury a pet in your garden. Here are the guidelines you must adhere to when burying a pet:
- You may only bury a pet within the grounds of your own home, in land that you own. You may not bury a pet in land that you rent, or in a public place such as a park.
- Your burial site must not be near any water sources, or underground pipes.
- There must be at least three feet of soil above your coffin, though this may be reduced to two feet in heavier/denser soils. (This also ensures your pet remains undisturbed by scavenging animals such as foxes).
- The pet’s remains must not be hazardous to human health. (Though a very rare occurrence, a vet may refuse to release remains for burial if certain controlled drugs have been used).
Although not a legal requirement, we also recommend avoiding locations that might be disturbed in the future, such as flower beds. If you would appreciate extra peace of mind, additional security, or may move house in the future, we offer Zinc Lining on a number of our coffins.
If you have any questions or would like more advice about the burial of your pet, please do contact us.
A zinc lined coffin is a casket that has had the inner structure lined with zinc in order to preserve the coffins integrity. Whilst the outer casket will biodegrade, the inner lining will remain intact for many more years.
We would recommend a zinc lined coffin to customers who are likely to move house or would appreciate the additional security. Please ensure extra care is taken when removing a zinc lined coffin that has been buried.
If you have any questions about whether zinc lining might be right for you, please do contact us.
Our coffins are carefully wrapped and packaged using premium materials in our workshop. They are then collected from us and sent using a trusted signed courier service.
Our largest Size ‘E’ wooden coffin is only suitable for collection directly from our workshop in Charlwood. Please contact us for details before placing your order.
